Where to find neutral bedding

January 23, 2019

We use neutral bedding at every staging project and with good reason.  It’s clean and crisp and creates a blank canvas for the furniture and accessories in the bedroom.  At home, we also love that you can toss some bedding  into the washing machine with bleach to keep the bedding extra bright (please read the instructions!).

In our staging projects, we typically start with a textural quilt or blanket and then layer a duvet or comforter on top to give that extra cozy feeling.  You know, like when you're in a fancy hotel!  So today I am rounding up where to find some amazing neutral bedding options.

Quilts and coverlets:   I love a good textural quilt and although in our stage projects we use both a quilt and duvet, I typically only keep a quilt in my master bedroom.  Obviously I blame my husband for kicking off the covers, but we just can't seem to keep a duvet in place like a quilt.  I've had my eye on the hand-stitched coverlet by John Robshaw for my next bedding change and my sister just picked up the some Parachute bedding and has rave reviews!  I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the selections below.

Duvet covers: It was super tough to narrow down a selection of duvet covers because there is such a great selection across all retailers and all price ranges.  And duvet insert is relatively inexpensive, so really a duvet folded at the end of your bed is an affordable and easy way to add some pizzazz to your bedroom (whether you are staging your home or simply living there)!

If you're looking for an easy face lift in your bedroom, we totally recommend swapping out your current bedding for one of these amazing  neutral options.  Remember, neutral does not mean boring...especially with all these quality fabrics and amazing textures.

Anna
