Galentine's Day gift ideas for your best gals
Galentine's Day is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays of the year. My husband and I never really celebrate Valentine's Day, so really it's just become a perfect excuse to drink some wine with my besties! I am always on the lookout for sweet little hostess gifts for my pals, so today I've pulled together a handful of gift ideas for those special ladies in your life!
For her bathroom
I had never bought a diffuser until this past Christmas and oh my goodness I have been missing out. These things are so wonderful and provide the most subtle scent without being an eyesore. You have to check out this diffuser by Mixture, which is a Kansas City based company making small batch products for your home and body. Please try the no. 14 Black Pepper scent - it's amazing.
These darling ceramic heart bowls from Crate and Barrel would be so perfect in a master bath to keep your rings. They are so delicate and neutral and of course, the heart shape is a plus for Galentine's Day.
We always use beautiful packaged soaps when we stage because well, they are beautiful. And it's a great way to add a pop of color in white and neutral bathrooms. I love this Fresh soap set from Nordstrom and they'd be a perfect little gift for any hostess.
For her coffee table
It's no secret that I love coffee table books. Heck, it's even in my bio on the site! Aside from flipping through the beautiful pages, they are wonderful accents in your home. I have coffee table books everywhere - on my coffee table (duh!), on console tables, in media consoles, on office bookshelves....you get it. Here are a couple of my favorites!
Home Body by Joanna Gaines - I mean, Joanna Gaines can do no wrong and of course her new book is as amazing as you would expect. Every single picture is inspiring and her voice comes through completely in the text. I love it!
Veranda Decorating by Mario Lopez-Cordero - Melinda and I were lucky enough to meet Mario and listen to him speak at event last summer at Stash. He was bright, charismatic and gracious and so is this book.
Elements of Style by Erin Gates - I have been following Erin Gates on social channels for years so of course when her first book came out a few years ago I bought it immediately for myself (and my mom and sister). And it's still one of my favorites.
For your memories
It'd be a long stretch to say that I'm sentimental, but these next few gifts are a great way to display your affection for your girls! This beautiful concrete jewelry box from CB2 would be such a lovely gift for your girls, especially if you drop in a few old photos in the box.
I love this pinky promise line drawing from Urban Outfitters. Such a perfect Galentine's gift for your bestie. I mean, it's sentimental but definitely not sappy.
These acrylic and marble picture frames from CB2 are so great. Again, slip in an old photo of the girls and it's an easy and fun accessories that she can put anywhere in the house.
These next few groups are just some sweet little ways to treat your girls. I could totally see this cute little gold palm leaf candle holder topping off a stack off coffee table books :) Drop in her favorite scented candle and you're all set.
All you need to do to complete this darling pink vase is just snag one flower out of the bouquet from your husband/parents/friends/secret admirer and you're golden. It's a perfect little one flower vase!
Nothing says I love you girl like a throw pillow to help her relax during her marathon Netflix sessions and this golden tasseled pillow from CB2 is just what she needs.
I just got back from a Mexico vacation with my husband and our best friends and it was such a good reminder of how much I love my girls - even though we have to travel out of the country to get some quality time together we truly pick up right where we left off. This Galentine's Day, surprise your host with something more than wine...or maybe one of these gifts AND wine!!
