Favorite leather finds!
I love leather and I've noticed that we've been incorporating into our design aesthetic more and more lately. And with good reason, it's amazing! You may think that leather pieces will make a room feel super masculine (it could) or that it's not suitable for family wear and tear (it might not be). But the right leather pieces are an amazing way to bring in a different texture and vibe to your home and in my humble opinion, it's just the perfect neutral.
Today I'm sharing 5 of my favorite leather finds for the home.
Colin and Finn has the most amazing selection of pillow covers, as well as home decor items and even better, they're local!! Yay, St. Louis small biz! But it's the leather and mudcloth pillow that initially caught my eye. Awesome quality, awesome style - go check them out!
I love this leather tufted sofa from CB2. I think the shape feels super modern and unlike some leather sofas, it looks really comfortable. I think this sofa could be great in an office or as the main event in a small living room or apartment.
This leather director bench is so great and would look amazing at the end of a bed. I actually have a similar leather bench in my master (see here) and it's such a great contrast to the feminine feel of my bedding. Plus, it's a great place to lay out my clothes or maybe even a spot for laundry that needs to be put away (don't tell)!
Changing out hardware is such an easy update so if you're growing tired of your current dresser but don't want to invest in a new piece, try swapping out the handles or pulls for a refresh. I love these leather drawer pulls and they would look amazing on just about any dresser. I think they would be perfect in a little kid's bedroom, contrasting against a white surface!
This captain's mirror by Notorious Badger is so cool and would be awesome in an office or small bathroom. I think the leather belt details are so cool and would be a funky detail that you might not see every day!
Aside from your leather jackets and minis, what are your thoughts on these leather pieces in your home?
