Bar cart faves - high vs. low

May 14, 2019

I absolutely love a good bar cart - in staging and in real life.  They are such a great accent piece and an easy way to bring some pops of color and fun into a space.  We use bar carts in many of our projects clearly the sky is the limit when it comes to styling.  I think it's super fun to change up the look of a bar cart with each season and to dress them up a little extra for holidays and parties!  And you don't even have to use booze on your bar cart, you can be creative with whatever you have around the house.  Today I'm rounding up some of my favorite bar cart styles, in both low and high cost options.

ACRYLIC - I think that when people hear acrylic they immediately think ultra modern, but these two acrylic bar carts are quite beautiful and can work in any style!  We used the Overstock bar cart in a project in Kansas City and it looked amazing - you would never know that it's the low cost option!

LOW - Overstock ($298) HIGH - Ballard ($599)

BRASS/INDUSTRIAL- These two brass options are awesome because of their simple design and brass hue is a perfect backdrop to go wild with your bar cart accessories.  No competition here - just a solid base to go bananas with your styling.

LOW  - Overstock ($138), HIGH - Crate & Barrel ($599)

RATTAN- If you've read any of my blog posts you'll learn that I'm a sucker for rattan furniture.  I am obsessed with all of the pieces in the South Seas rattan collection from Serena and Lily, but this Target alternative is an amazing low-cost alternative.  Both feel light and fresh and would be great in a sun room or at a beach house property (a girl can dream, right?!).

LOW - Target ($139.99), HIGH - Serena & Lily ($598)

MID-CENTURY WOOD- Here are two mid-century bar carts that feel a little more masculine than the rest of my selections!  I think these would both look sharp in an office space with some crystal decanters and a bright green plant or topiary for a pop of color.

LOW - All Modern ($159) HIGH - West Elm ($299)

CLASSIC GOLD- The following two bar carts are classic and sleek and would be amazing in any home.  In fact, we have the low cost version on the left and it's looked amazing in many projects!  The gold base and mirrored tables really elevate the look of these carts.  So pretty.

LOW - Joss & Main ($126.99), HIGH - Joss & Main ($239.99)

Be sure to check out our Instagram page to see examples of how we've styled bar carts in our projects.  As you can see, no two ever look the same!

Anna
