Making an entry...

May 16, 2019

I think one of the most incredible ways to make a first impression in your home  - is with a stunning entry foyer. I have a traditional center-staircase home, so I don't have the luxury of the grand foyer of my dreams. But, that doesn't keep me from planning for my next house!

Recently, we spent some time planning a design for our client's large foyer and we thought we would share some of our favorite pieces and combos with you. For this post, we are just sharing tables that you can use as a centerpiece in the middle of your foyer- but don't be fooled, we LOVE a nice console table in the entry. To keep things simple today, this is just about finding a great table to put right out in the middle of the floor when you have an abundance of square feet to work with.

This table is one of my favorites. It has clean lines, but a style that feels unique and modern. This is the only one we didn't pair with a rug- because sometimes your floors are too beautiful to be covered.

Juliette Table

This table by Noir is so cool. I love the edgy shape that puts a unique twist on the traditional pedestal table. We thought this table would look great with a modern, colorful rug from West Elm.

Octagon Table - Watermark Rug

Love the industrial/ restoration vibe of this table with the super thick metallic base.

Brownstone Diego Table - Border Round Jute Rug

For a more interesting base on a black round table, try this one with - paired with a simpler natural woven rug.

Noir Victor Charcoal Table  - Round Jute Rug

This table is one of my favorites. It has clean lines, but a style that feels unique and modern. We love this paired with a vintage-inspired rugs with hints of blue and orange-red.

Laredo Table - Nadine Rug

This farmhouse table has a weathered appearance, and would look great paired with a natural jute rug.

Exact table no longer available, another cool farmhouse table: Alexandra Table -  Bordered Jute Rug

This traditional wood pedestal table is classic and beautiful. It's the kind of table that you'll pass down to your kids and it will still be stylish. We paired it with a rug that mimics some of the patterns we've been seeing on painted tile.

Similar Mahogany table from Crate & Barrel  Winnetka Table- another from Joss & Main - Barrington Table -  Tile Wool Kilim Rug

Good luck on your hunt! We hope all of your grand foyer dreams come true (and your non-home decor dreams, of course). Email us if you have an idea for something you'd like us to share!
