Sherwin Williams ColorMix Forecast 2020 Recap

October 23, 2019

Earlier this month Stephanie had the opportunity to attend the local Sherwin Williams ColorMix Forecast presentation for 2020. This annual event showcases Sherwin Williams paint color trend predictions for the upcoming year.

The color forecast was divided into 5 palettes identified by a unifying sentiment, illustrated by inspirational videos and photographs that gave us alllll the feels. The 5 palette groupings include Alive, Mantra, Play, Haven, and Heart. Explore these beautiful colors below, and be sure to visit sherwinwilliams.com to view all of the pictorial and video inspo.

Alive:

O+O top color pick from Alive: SW 6244 Naval, which also happens to be the Sherwin Williams Color of the Year 2020! Navy is absolutely a new neutral in our eyes!

Mantra:

O+O top color pick from Mantra: SW 6008 Individual White. Not quite blush, not quite beige nor grey, this airy neutral is sure to be a hit alternative to pure white.

Play:

O+O top color pick from Play: SW 6690 Gambol Gold. It's warm and it's bright, without being too yellow. In the right material and proper scale, this hue can look so sophisticated!

Haven:

O+O top color pick from Haven: SW 9132 Acacia Haze. This green-grey is so warm and yummy, we can imagine utilizing it for walls, furniture, and accessories.

Heart:

O+O top color pick from Heart: SW 9005 Coral Clay. This gorgeous rich pink is earthy yet bold, and pairs perfectly with subtler tones like grey, beige, white, and tan.

So which palette is your fave? What colors do you lean towards in your staging or home decor? We'd love to hear from you!

Happy coloring,

O+O
