Why would I spend even MORE money to sell my home? Is it worth it? I don't think it will help sell my home any faster....or for more money.....
We hear these kinds of questions and comments all the time when communicating with potential new clients about staging their homes. Some are hesitant to buy into the idea of staging, and others bawk at the price. We can show new clients examples of our work all day long, but what really gets their attention are the cold, hard, facts: Staging Statistics.
You cannot argue with the numbers, which are pretty incredible, as they relate to staging. Here are some statistics that may blow you mind:
1. The return on investment for Home Staging is 586%. This high percentage sounds good, but what does it mean? Well, if you spend $2,000 on staging your home, you are likely to earn an additional $11,720 on the sale of your home.
2. Staged homes sell on average 88% faster than unstaged homes. So if the same home were to go on the market staged and unstaged, the staged version is likely to sell in only 7 days compared to the unstaged home, which would take 60 days.
3. Staged homes sell for an average of 20% more. An unstaged home, for example, that sells for $400,000 would sell for an average of $480,000 staged.
So not only is staging worth the investment (you'll get your money back MANY times over), it saves you time and money on the sale of your home.
We love our work, and we LOVE helping our clients realize these benefits. #StagingWorks!!
