Inside Our May Results: 18 Installs, Homes Under Contract in Just 5 Days

May was a month of serious momentum for Olive + Opal, and we’re excited to share just how impactful it was. We closed out the month with our busiest May ever, with jump of over 43% compared to May 2024—a testament to both the strength of our team and the increasing demand for expertly staged spaces.

We completed 18 project installs throughout the month, with 15 vacant and 3 occupied properties, showcasing our ability to tailor design solutions for every type of home. We also completed 18 destages, keeping our calendar and inventory moving at a fast clip. Hopefully you caught a glimpse of our O+O truck cruising all around St. Louis.

The average listing price of homes we staged in May was $671,000, and 81% of those homes went under contract in just 5.2 days on average. It’s proof that strategic staging isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s a powerful tool in today’s competitive market.

Behind the scenes, one of our biggest wins was having a strong logistics team in place. Their coordination ensured seamless installs and removals, even with our busiest schedule yet. We also began incorporating new inventory arrivals into our projects, bringing updated pieces and fresh style into each home.
