FRIDAY FINDS: Our Favorite Accent Chairs
A curated roundup of the designer chairs we love to use—and how to style them.
If you’ve ever heard us say “Just start with the chair,” we mean it. Accent chairs are one of the easiest (and most impactful) ways to refresh a space—no renovation required. They can add texture, color, contrast, and comfort in one perfect swoop.
This week, we’re sharing a few of our go-to accent chairs—favorites we’ve styled in both real-life staging projects and design client homes. From sculptural neutrals to plush statement pieces, there’s something for every style and space.

Modern Curved Bouclé accent or dining Chair
Cozy, clean-lined, and totally sculptural. This creamy boucle chair gives off serious “architectural art piece” energy.
How we styled it:
In this Rombach Custom Home in Kirkwood, we used these sculptural boucle chairs around a round black pedestal table to create a dining space that feels elevated but approachable. Their creamy texture softened the clean lines and helped define the open floor plan.

Soft sherpa texture meets bold black contrast. A must for neutral lovers who still want edge.

5. Cloud White Ball Leg Chair
Whimsical, comfy, and a client favorite. The playful ball legs bring the fun. This is almost out of stock everywhere, but we found a very similar bucle wingback alternative.
How we styled it:
In this renovated country house by Revel City Home Buyers, these ball-leg chairs added a playful note to an otherwise traditional fireplace setting. Their plush boucle finish and sculptural base helped soften the lines of the room while keeping things light and inviting.
How we styled it:
We used these boucle wingbacks in a cozy upstairs den at our Kirkwood townhouse project. Their larger scale and curved arms made them perfect for lounge-worthy corners—versatile, comfortable, and a total crowd pleaser.
6. Golden Wheat Accent Chair
The ultimate cozy neutral—warm, welcoming, and a designer-grade chair that is easy to style with just about anything.

7. Cream + Walnut Wood Frame Chair
A forever favorite. Clean lines + wood arms = timeless and transitional.
How we styled it:
This timeless piece found its place in the front living room of a renovated Town & Country project. It helped bridge a warm, earthy palette, playing off the wood tones of the coffee table and the rust velvet sofa just across the room.
8. Goldenrod Channel Tufted Swivel Chair
Yes, she swivels. This statement piece is bold, textural, and surprisingly versatile. This one is small in scale and works great in an apartment or smaller layout - you can get it for under $250!
How we styled it:
This small-scale swivel added the perfect pop of sunshine to a primary bedroom in Ballwin. It’s ideal for apartments or tight corners where you still want personality without sacrificing space.
9. Minimalist Round Bouclé Accent Chair
Soft curves and cozy vibes. We love using this in pairs for symmetry that still feels warm.
How we styled it:
In this Kirkwood living room, we used this pair of rounded boucle chairs to mirror each other in an open-concept room. Placed around a black woven coffee table, they created a soft contrast to the crisp white cabinetry and black accents throughout.
