still time to style for fall

Hey, it’s Meg here and…it’s Fall Ya’ll! Sure, we’re a few weeks in already, but we’re the first to admit that we fall behind in life and yep, there is absolutely still spring and summer decor up in the O+O gals’ houses. What can we say, we’re human!

But it’s not too late to make some easy swaps in your house to transition to fall. I'm excited to present a carefully selected assortment of my Fall favorites! Each piece within this collection has been personally handpicked to bring the spirit of the season into your space. From luxurious textures to timeless pieces, every item is chosen with one goal in mind: to enhance your Fall experience!

Let's dive into this curated collection and discover how these selections can transform your living space into a haven of Autumnal charm.

Paint Pallet

The easiest and fastest way to transform your home!  From front doors to interior spaces, you’re just an afternoon project away from a complete transformation.  Here’s my favorite fall color palette from Sherwin Williams.

Pewter Green - A rich warm & moody hue.

Upward - Sherwin Williams 2024 color of the year.  So transitional for every season but particularly reminds me of gray cloudy skies paired with a warm cup of something during the fall season!  So versatile!

Redend Point - Rusty yet muddied with an undertone of red hues.  The perfect balance of fresh and crisp!

Furnishings and Decor

Fern Storage Cabinet - Anthropologie - The warmth within the wood tones of this cabinet bring a sense of style and nature to any space.  Use it to store extra serve ware during the upcoming holiday season or beautifully style it with seasonal decor.  It’s a practical piece that will enhance your space.

Vintage Coastal Bird - Urban Garden Prints - Swap out floral artwork for something that feels more appropriate for the season.  This art source is one of my go-to’s and they’re always updating their selections.  Remember when selecting artwork that appropriate scale is key!

Glimmer of Hope - North and Finch - Another sourcing favorite for artwork!  North and Finch has all the vintage feels and creates such a *mood* in every room.  So good!

Velvet / Linen Decorative Pillow - Annie Selke - I always freshen up my pillow collection with every passing season!  It’s the easiest way to compliment a new seasonal vibe!  Introducing a rich texture like velvet immediately translates into cozy vibes and this color is *chefs kiss*.  Complimentary pillows that offset like this reversible wool windowpane pillow from Crate and Barrel will feel effortlessly coordinated.

Custom Upholstered Ottoman - The Inside - These X-Bench ottomans have always been a favorite of mine and if you’ve entered a design package with me, changes are I’ve suggested these for you!  They come in a variety of patterns/colors but this doe print is a classic!  Such an unexpected pattern and surprise in any home!  Ottomans are an amazing option for flexible seating when the dropping temperatures bring your entertainment inside.

Slope Arm Swivel Chair - Target - What a steal on these luxurious swivel chairs!  An easy swap from linen or cotton chairs to these for the colder months!!  The rust color is perfect for Autumn and … hey … everyone loves a swivel chair!

Blush Foxtail Bunch - Crate and Barrel - Foxtail stems effortlessly replace faux greenery and elevate your room to fall in the blink of an eye!  Love these (and similar options) from Crate and Barrel.

Bronze and Brass Rattan Shade - Lamps Plus - Lighting isn’t something we necessarily think about when it comes to “easy swaps” but let me tell you, texture is all the rage in this season and the rest of the season throughout the year.  So why not upgrade now?  If you’re like me and transition your home from natural lighting to “lamp-thirty” when the sun is setting consider adding sconces to your room.  Trust me on this one!

Rattan Bar Cart - Serena and Lily - Bar carts are a must for the fall (and winter) as you consider entertaining indoors.  The added efficiency that a bar cart adds is underrated.  Consider adding a bar cart with texture for reasons mentioned above.

Chunky Knit Throw - Macy’s - And last but not least a cozy chunky blanket for obvious reasons.  The chunkier the better to add dimension and interest to your oh-so-cozy sofa.  Love!

XOXO,

Meg
